Cara Andovea
Tension filled the room, it was an overwhelming feeling and one that Cara hated if she had to be truthful. As she watched Dementis there seemed to be some wired softness, a softness that she at first only thought to be a trick, (demons were known to be tricky) but as she questioned him about the kiss steeping ever closer as she did so his eyebrow rose and a look she'd seen before shone. Desire, she couldn't believe it, nor could she believe the low chuckle that some after her question it sounded almost human.
“It seems that I am teaching you something after all. Yes, it is, but there is nothing on this earth that you can do to make Mark do the ritual. He’s already made up his mind about it, trust me I can feel it.”
His smile changed growing but still it held that seductive tone to it. She somehow knew the demon to be right about Mark already making up his mind about Dementis staying she could see it in his eyes and now as she thought back she had seen it in even Mark's. One question answered, one to go.
“As for your other question, when I kissed you, I official claimed you as mine, not Mark’s. He only sees you as family, but I see something more in you, I see your potential, something that my human half could never see. You are both beautiful and smart, something I do not see in almost every human female, and for that I seem to be attracted to you. I could spare your life, and even Easy’s, if you only you agree to be mine.”
A trick, simply words she had been used by men before only to get a kiss. Eric had surprised her by giving into her dying request, more so then she thought he ever would then that night at the club that hurt most of all, and she never heard back from him.
"And how will I know that you'll keep to your word, after all demon's are known to lie, use people's feelings against them. I mean, isn't that what you're doing to Mark and even me?"
Her eyes closed holding back the tears of what it would truly mean if she agreed to Dementis's deal. It was one that she had thought of herself but now... to spear the lives at the cost of her heart, give up her inner most desire?
She felt a gentle hold claim her chin, a soft brush of a fingertip run along her cheek as slowly it brought her gaze up her eyes only opening when she felt it stop.
"Why would you want me anyway?" she asked "why would you give up killing the people who could in the end kill you just to have me?"
She stopped there pulling in breath as she finally gave into her tears.
"I'll be yours but only if you agree not to kill anyone I ask you not to, or bring any other sort of harm to them either."
At lest this time she knew she as just being used.

"And how will I know that you'll keep to your word, after all demon's are known to lie, use people's feelings against them. I mean, isn't that what you're doing to Mark and even me?" she questioned before closing her eyes to hold back the tears that threatened to spill. The demon could tell that she had be hurt in the past by those who said they loved her, yet they never bothered to get in contact with her. It might have been a demon, but it didn’t understand what men gained from lying to women. Yes, demons were known to lie, but in Dementis’ case, it had not. It always spoke the truth no matter how hard and cruel it was. It was a demon who stood by its words, if it said it would or would not do something, it would do just that and nothing more. So, what did it make it, a truthful demon or something like that? It was not like any demon in the world or in the books. It was not like the others, it did not mindless hurt people even though it was its nature to do so, it only hurt those who it thought would bring harm to Mark, either mentally or physically. That was why it brought harm to Cara and wanted to harm Cat, it was only because other people in Mark’s past had said the very exact words, but at the end he was usually hurt. The demon would not allow that to happen anymore, not when it was around. Though it did not act like it, it actually wanted to protect Mark, not harm him. Though all that was hard to believe, it was the truth. It was snapped from its thoughts by Cara’s voice.
"Why would you want me anyway? Why would you give up killing the people who could in the end kill you just to have me?" she paused for a moment to take in a breath of air, tears streaming down her face, "I'll be yours but only if you agree not to kill anyone I ask you not to, or bring any other sort of harm to them either." she said softly. It smiled victoriously at her words, yet did not understand why she was crying. Either it was just the demon or some of Mark’s personality had rubbed off on it over the years, but it felt a twinge of despair at her tears as its smile slowly dropped. Its human half did not like it when others cried, but it seem that it shared the same feeling. Weren’t demons supposed to be uncaring? Letting go of her chin, it unintentionally wiped her tears, stepping back a little bit after it did. It suddenly returned to its normal attitude, masking the despair, and did a half bow, looking up at her with a alluring expression.
“Whether you believe me or not, but I am a demon of my word therefore you do not have to worry about me lying. Nor do have to worry about me doing as other men in the past have done to you, I promise you that.” it stood straight to its full height, “As I have said before, the only way you can get rid of me is doing the ritual and I highly doubt that Mark is going to let any do that. Since you agreed to be mine, I won’t kill anyone, but I can’t say the same for hurting anyone. Since me and Mark are sharing one body, I have to also protect it by any means necessary and I do mean by ANY means. And if he dies, I die, so I also have to protect him from anything mentally or physically. As for why would I want you, I’ve already told you, my dear, I find you attracting and beautiful. I have never seen these qualities in a human female that were good for my taste. To think, demons are not supposed to feel those kinds of emotions.” it said in a low, rich purr. It left out the part about it actually wanting to protect Mark because it didn’t want her to view it as weak.

Cara Andovea
With her heart on the line she still couldn't believe she had agreed, this was a demon, one who had tried to kill her and not just once but twice. Then there was also the of Mark, she knew he'd hate the idea of her belonging to his darker side but if it meant it would no longer kill she didn't care. Still she still had to believe what it said how could she know for sure that it wasn't lying to her? One way to find out and that was to plan out ask it.
As her words came to a stop she felt the tears she had been trying to hold back overflow, cursing herself for showing that her heart was her biggest weakness, though somehow she knew both Dementis and Mark had already figured that part out.
The next time she opened her eyes she saw the smile on the demon's face telling her he took great joy in winning their deal, yet did he not know that it wasn't a deal yet? There was still the matter of his word and she actually believing it.
As her tears fell so to did it's smile, the hold of her chin gone to be replaced by Dementis brushing away her rivered tears with such a gentle touch. Her watered gaze looked at him as he half bowed bringing himself down to her level, why she didn't really know.
“Whether you believe me or not, but I am a demon of my word therefore you do not have to worry about me lying. Nor do have to worry about me doing as other men in the past have done to you, I promise you that.”
A scoff past over her lips, it was something she couldn't help.
"I guess I'll just have to wait and see." she told him in a whisper before he returned to full height.
“As I have said before, the only way you can get rid of me is doing the ritual and I highly doubt that Mark is going to let any do that. To think, demons are not supposed to feel those kinds of emotions.” His voice one again a purr.
Cara didn't say a word for quit some time and then slowly a few new thoughts started to enter her mind. She wanted to know were she stood this time, where Mark stood and for some unknown reason were Dementis stood in the whole matter of this deal.
"Does that mean I have to give up wanting you gone? Does this mean you'll give up wanting to kill me or anyone else wanting you gone? When your in control you seem to have a temper, you see nothing but hate. How will I know that one day you won't break you vow to protect Mark?"
Her eyes fell to her locket, more tears rolling down her face as she quickly turned away from him she had shown him weakness enough.
"I don't want to lose Mark, but somehow I fear this deal does just that. I promised him that he could trust me. Therefore even though I agree I still want to know what he thinks. Let me talk to him? Please."

The demon tell that she didn’t understand why it bowed and it actually understood her. When it bowed, it was showing that it was making a oath to her and showing that it was truthful in its words. It was a little gesture that it had given a unique meaning to, so yes, it understood her confusion. It could easily read that she didn’t believe it, which slightly made it mad. What else did it have to do? Or was it the simple facts that it was a demon and it had tried to kill her twice? Well, it had good reason to kill her, to protect Mark, and it had promised her that it would not to kill anyone else. Why wasn’t she satisfied? Oh well, she was now it and that was all that matter, it didn’t really care she was happy or not. It thought for a moment and decided it would at least try and make her happy. But there was one little problem with that: the demon had no idea how to do that exactly. Ever since it was created, it had always cause suffering and pain, even to Mark, but it never brought happiness or joy to someone other than itself. The only thing it could think of doing was something it hated doing, asking her what she wanted it to do. It returned its focus back on the young female when she whispered something quietly.
"I guess I'll just have to wait and see." she murmured lowly. This statement made Dementis frown grow, turning it to a scowl. Deciding to ignore her words, the demon continued to speak, telling her that it would do anything to protect the body that it and Mark resided in. This statement was true, it would do anything, even kill, to protect it. It had done so in the past and just because it had promised not to kill anymore didn’t mean that it was going to stop doing so. If she thought that then she was dead wrong. After the demon was done speaking, it waited, almost patiently, for her to talk or do anything. As the seconds, which seemed like hours to it, ticked by, it started to get slightly agitated just as a animal would. It folded its arms in a infuriated way in order to mask its uneasiness. It continued to look at her with a blank and demonic gaze as she began to speak.
"Does that mean I have to give up wanting you gone? Does this mean you'll give up wanting to kill me or anyone else wanting you gone? When your in control you seem to have a temper, you see nothing but hate. How will I know that one day you won't break you vow to protect Mark?" she questioned, her gaze going to her locket and tears began to form two crystalline streams down her cheeks before she turned away from the demon, "I don't want to lose Mark, but somehow I fear this deal does just that. I promised him that he could trust me. Therefore even though I agree I still want to know what he thinks. Let me talk to him? Please." she pleaded softly, her back still turned it. Its deep frown turned into a wicked grin, a wonderful, yet malevolent, idea forming in its mind. Taking silent and threatening steps, the demon walked up behind Cara, placing both gloved hands on her shoulders. Using the utmost gentleness, it began to massage her shoulders, trying to make her relax and unknowingly showing a part of Mark in the simple action.
“There is no need to cry, my dear. If it about the locket, we could easily get it fixed. But if it about something else, there it is still nothing to cry about.” the demon bent down until its mouth was next to her ear, but continued to rub her shoulders, “It does not matter if you hate me or not, you still agreed to be mine, but I would whether have you not hate me, I heard from some humans that it makes a relationship go much more smoothly. If you wish to talk to my other half then you shall since it seems to make you happy. Remember though, I can hear every word you can say, it just depends if I feel like listening or not. I will not allow him full control, but I will give him enough to speak to you. Enjoy it while it lasts, my dear.” it said quietly in a seductive voice. It place a gentle kiss on her cheek before backing away a few steps, closing its eyes when it stopped. After a few moments, its eyes opened to reveal that the right eye was its normal grey green color and the other eye was dark grey, signaling that Dementis was still in control, but was letting Mark speak. The look on the larger man’s face was that of utter emptiness, as though he was just a empty shell of what he used to be. On the inside though, he was weeping silently to himself. He couldn’t believe what Cara had done. She had basically sold herself to the devil just so people would die. He still didn’t understand why the demon wanted her in the first place besides what it had said itself. A part of Mark thought that Dementis didn’t even know why it wanted her. It had made many promises to him in the past and surprisingly hadn’t broken any of them. He found it kind of strange that a spawn of the devil that was known to lie actually kept its word. He blamed himself for what Cara had done, agreed to be Dementis’, dooming herself to a lifetime of being a demon‘s plaything or something like that. If only he had been stronger, if only he could have kept it away from her, she wouldn’t have had to do that.
“Was there something you wanted to talk about?” he asked in a emotionless voice.

Cara Andovea
Lie's form the very devil himself made it hard for her to believe a word it said to her, Mark had said it was a clever being and would do anything to get what it wanted so why did it truly want her? Beauty and brains Dementis had told her but surly there had been others, would be others there was no true meaning as to why it wanted her and that hurt most of all.
She could see that the demon knew she doubted him, saw that it made him mad which got to her more then the bow ever would, did it really care what she thought? She couldn't bring herself to believe it and she had always, always spoken the truth which in a silent whisper she did.
Even though she didn't look up she heard Dementis growl just because she now belonged to him didn't mean she was going to change the way she looked upon him. Still he seemed to forget her words, or push them aside as he went on speaking telling her that he'd do anything to protect Mark.
Even go back on your word it was that very thought that she couldn't shake. She had agreed to be his and in doing so sold her heart, her any chance of finding love and giving up on her greatest desire and all to save lives. If he went back on his word... she would of sold her heart for nothing.
With tears falling she had to turn away, she had to talk to Mark and so she had asked him somehow thinking that now it would never be the same.
Foot steeps walked up to her but she didn't turn around, not even when his hands gently claimed hold of her shoulders making her jump just the tiniest bit before he took on the last action she thought he'd ever do.
“There is no need to cry, my dear. If it about the locket, we could easily get it fixed. But if it about something else, there it is still nothing to cry about.”
And how would you know? Cara thought to herself his words about her locket only proving to her that he had no idea what love was, what the locket meant to her. Without it on her neck she felt lost they were the only people that had ever truly loved her, she would never know that feeling again.
“It does not matter if you hate me or not, you still agreed to be mine, but I would whether have you not hate me, I heard from some humans that it makes a relationship go much more smoothly. If you wish to talk to my other half then you shall since it seems to make you happy. Remember though, I can hear every word you can say, it just depends if I feel like listening or not. I will not allow him full control, but I will give him enough to speak to you. Enjoy it while it lasts, my dear.”
God how she hated it when it called her that. Well at lest know it's true she thought with a sigh hearing the words breathed into her ear telling her that his lips where only an inch away. But that was not what she was thinking about, the word relationship looping through her head over and over again so much so that she didn't even feel the slight kiss to her cheek.
“Was there something you wanted to talk about?”
The words snapped her from her thoughts and turning she ran right into Mark's arms throwing her own around him and letting all her tears fall.
"I sold my soul Mark, everything and I have no idea if he'll keep to his word" Cara cried. "I've made my own threat come true, Mark I'm so sorry"
She couldn't say another word her legs starting to feel weak she gave into them slowly crumbling to the ground hiding her head in her hands all her strength gone.

Before he had spoken, Mark noticed that the young female was deep in thought. Was thinking of her predictable bleak future with the demon inside him? Or was she thinking of something entirely different? He highly doubted it, there was no way that she couldn’t be thinking of what she had just done. The kind of deal she made with Dementis, it spare everyone’s lives and in return have her as its own, was something only the demon could think of. The larger man still blamed himself for that. He was weak for letting it do that, for it to take control, he was pathetic and did not deserve Cara, Easy, or anyone else as a friend. Now though, it seemed that Cara and him were going to truly stick together to the bitter end even though she had promised it herself and it was all because of one of Dementis’ devious plans. Right now he could still feel the it was in control, it was just silently listening to them and giving him the luxury of speak to Cara. When he voiced his question, the young woman seemed to snap out of her stupor. Without warning and much to Mark’s shock, she quickly turned on her heel and practically jumped into his arms, her arms wrapping themselves around him though they did not make it fully around his waist. In surprise, he immediately held her in a gently embrace.
"I sold my soul Mark, everything and I have no idea if he'll keep to his word. I've made my own threat come true, Mark I'm so sorry" she apologized softly. He tightened his grasp on her as she began to lose her strength and her legs began to give up on her. The dark haired man stayed silent for a moment, listening to her quiet sobs. He had no idea what to do in a situation like this. He had never had to comfort someone, most of the time he didn’t even comfort himself. This time though he had to find some way of comforting her. Slowly and hesitantly, he began to softly stroke her brunette hair and holding her closer to him in a comforting way, doing what his mother did to comfort him when he was a child. He didn’t know if he was doing it right, but he was just knew what he saw his mother do for him.
“You shouldn’t be the one apologizing, you have done nothing, I’m the one who should be apologizing. I wasn’t strong enough to keep Dementis at bay and now you are suffering because of my weakness. I am not worthy to have you or anyone else as friend.” he said quietly, meaning what he had said.

Cara Andovea
If you looked up broken hearted you would find a picture of Cara for now as she cried she could feel it being eaten away, it would of been easier if Dementis had just killed her, it would of been better then a walking death not even Mark's gentle and surprising embrace brought her any comfort.
His wrapped arms even failed to hold her up as her bottom lip trembled and her body shock, flashes now filling her head of the future. All she saw was blackness, ementness even though she knew Mark would always be there now she would never feel like it was just them knowing that Dementis would most likely be watching her every move.
Through her sobs she felt a feather like touch in her hair, gentle fingers running through it just like her father had done when she was little. Her sob's didn't stop as they had all the way back then only slowed as Mark seemed to pull her body closer to his even on the floor.
“You shouldn’t be the one apologizing, you have done nothing, I’m the one who should be apologizing. I wasn’t strong enough to keep Dementis at bay and now you are suffering because of my weakness. I am not worthy to have you or anyone else as friend.”
Looking up slowly from her hands her bloodshot eyes never meeting his face she slowly and very quietly whispered:
"It wasn't you who offered the deal, or you who accepted it nor are you the course. Dementis only spoke it first in truth it was one of the deals I came up with, a last resort. Everyone needs friends and my suffering isn't on your hands I did it for a reason and if it means that he won't kill I'd do it again."
Her lip and body still trembled as she chocked on nearly every word.
"It doesn't mean I have to like it though."
She stopped again trying to collect herself before bringing her head up trying to force herself to meet Mark's gaze but as soon as she did she had to look away seeing that Dementis was still there.
"Mark you know him better then I do, is he a demon of his word and what does it mean to be his? I can't help but question does he feel for me at all...or is it another of his tricks."
In her hands still she held her locket her crying stopping all together now as she she finally forced herself to look Mark in the eye.
"I swore I'd never lose another family but now..."
She couldn't bring herself to go on as she forcefully whipped her tears away.
"What's he want with me?"

As he continued to softly stroke her hair, he noticed that her quiet cries of anguish had not stopped, but only got slower. It was plain and clear that this was not comforting the young female. Of course, how could a man that couldn’t even comfort himself, comfort a other person? His efforts were probably in vain also because she was thinking about her future. He thought for a moment, trying to think of what the future held for them, but saw nothing. He hated himself and Dementis more than ever now that he saw Cara in so much pain. In his mind he heard a dark and evil laugh, but did not hear nothing else. Now he was going to make sure that her future wasn’t going to bleak as it seemed to be. The larger man would do anything in his power to make her life joyous as it was when her parents were alive even if it meant the cost of his own life. He would do anything, but do that accursed ritual, nothing would never make him do that again. Even though he knew that his efforts were unsuccessful, he continued to brush her hair gently with his hand, somewhat comforting himself. He silently listened while he listened to Cara’s soft, broken voice, the young female looking up at him without meeting his gaze.
"It wasn't you who offered the deal, or you who accepted it nor are you the course. Dementis only spoke it first in truth it was one of the deals I came up with, a last resort. Everyone needs friends and my suffering isn't on your hands I did it for a reason and if it means that he won't kill I'd do it again." Mark could feel her small body shaking in his embrace, her every word being said in a broken voice, "It doesn't mean I have to like it though." she said softly, meeting his gaze for a split second before looking away. He knew she saw Dementis in his eyes, that it still had control, it was only letting him speak because Cara wanted him to. He sighed lowly, of course she didn’t like this, who would ever like be a personal plaything to a demon. He wondered why she still wanted to be his friend. It was his fault that she was in the predicament and if she had never met him, she wouldn’t even know that demons were real. After this was over, he would ask her once more if she wanted him to leave. Deal or no deal, it would be based upon her judgment if they would have a future together as friends. It was still his fault for this, if he didn’t come to the gala in the first place, she wouldn’t be suffering right now.
‘You know Markus, I was only trying to help. I was merely playing matchmaker for not only you, but also me. You gain someone who will never betray you and I gain a new toy and quite possible something more. A mate or a slave to “satisfy” my needs when I say.’ the demon mused lowly from within his mind, letting out a demonic chuckle at the thought. The larger man mentally growled lowly back at it, warning it if it harmed her in any way, he would something far worse to it. It merely laughed, but said nothing else. He knew exactly what it meant by ‘satisfy my needs’ and he would try his best to make sure that would not happen. She deserved so much better than what ever he could give her and she most definitely deserved more than what that demon could give even though it could get her whatever she wanted. He was snapped from his thoughts by the young woman’s quiet voice. The dark haired man now noticed that her crying had stopped, but he continued to hold her and stopped stroking her hair.
"Mark you know him better then I do, is he a demon of his word and what does it mean to be his? I can't help but question does he feel for me at all...or is it another of his tricks." she finally met his gaze with bloodshot eyes after she looked at her locket, which he felt guilt for, knowing how much it meant to her, "I swore I'd never lose another family but now... What's he want with me?" she asked quietly. He really didn’t want her to ask that question and he heard Dementis laugh once more because of it. He learned from past experience that she wouldn’t like it if he lied. His gaze questioned if she really wanted to know what it thought of her. After a silent few moments, he knew that she wasn’t going to back down and she want to know the truth. He sighed in despair, hating himself more for what his other side saw her as.
“It is still my fault whether you like it or not, you just agreed to what the demon wanted. I am the source of you’re suffering because I was not strong enough. You are merely one of the many victims of my curse.” he said in a self-loathing tone, “Ever since I have heard its voice, it has made many promises to me and surprisingly it has kept every one of them intact. You think that demons always lie to get finish their objective more quickly, yet it has not. So yes, it is a demon of its word. It seems that the demon does have feelings for you, but it does not know what they are exactly, all it knows that it feels them. To tell you the truth, I don’t think it is part of one of the demon’s schemes . As for what it want’s with you…” Mark paused for a moment, trying to think of the right words, “I think Dementis wants to claim you in every way that it can, but yet I feel that it feels something else that it can not name and neither can I.” he said quietly, staring at her with a worried mismatched gaze. The arms around her became more tight, secretly becoming more possessive as it did. Suddenly without warning, both of Mark’s eyes became the dark grey color that represented Dementis, its gaze predatorily and full of lust and a other unknown emotion. Slowly it leaned towards her, keeping a tight yet possessive grip around her so she couldn’t escape, and it pressed its cheek next to her, its face near the crook of her neck. The demon gently nuzzled against her slender neck, showing a unknown softer side of it. Giving a soft, contented sigh, it closed its eyes in bliss as it continued nuzzle against her.
“If only you shared the same emotions that I have for you, you would see that it is not as bad as you and silly little Markus think it is. I could make your every wish come true, make those people who have hurt you suffer, and so much more. You should be happy that I am sparing so many lives, but yet you are not. Is it because I am a demon or that I tried to kill you twice? I was merely doing that to protect Mark, so many have said it in the past and he always ended up the hurting, almost killed on a few occasions. I did not feel these emotions I feel now when I tried to kill you, my dear, now I see the error of my ways. Such a delicate and beautiful flower shouldn’t have its petals removed so early in life, it should be revered and grow more beautifully than it was before. I would treat as no other man has done before, I will treat you as a queen.” it paused for a moment to gently kiss her neck, “Why won’t you accept me?” it whispered almost brokenly, for the first time ever sounding much like a child whose spirit had been mercilessly crushed. Right then and there, Dementis had sounded much like Mark when he felt like a lost child. After all the years of being together, some of Mark’s personality had apparently rubbed off onto the demon and some of Dementis’ personality had rubbed off onto the larger man.

Why wouldn't the pain go away, why wouldn't the tears dry for more then a second and why did she hear Dementis's evil laugh fill the room when she knew all to well that Mark wasn't saying a word as he ran his fingers through her hair? It seemed like they would never end even when they slowed she could fell them bubbling inside her.
After awhile though she forced herself to speak the words she had been thinking, she could not let Mark blame himself even though she knew he did and it was only when she forced herself to stop the tears that Mark's fingers stopped.
"What's he want with me?"
The question finally asked the answer to dread, to be another knife cutting into her heart. Even now when she finally meet his gaze she knew it would be the hardest thing to take but it seemed that Mark already knew the answer for she could tell he was in a debate with himself on whether to tell her or not.
“It is still my fault whether you like it or not, you just agreed to what the demon wanted. I am the source of you’re suffering because I was not strong enough. You are merely one of the many victims of my curse.”
She wanted to fight him but she didn't have the strength and even if she did she knew her words would be wasted.
“Ever since I have heard its voice, it has made many promises to me and surprisingly it has kept every one of them intact. As for what it want’s with you…”
So was that a god thing or a bad thing? She still somehow didn't believe that Dementis would give up killing or that he'd ever love her even if somewhere in his twisted mind he did feel something for her. It was the the cliff hanger sentence that sent would send her over the edge, while she had her idea's of what the demon might do she knew that Mark would have the true answer and so she waited.
She could see that Mark was having a hard time coming up with a gentle way to answer the question and every second felt like a life time until finally:
“I think Dementis wants to claim you in every way that it can, but yet I feel that it feels something else that it can not name and neither can I.”
Her blood turned cold, her face turned whiter then her dress as she listened to Mark's words. Claim you in every way that it can it could only mean one thing and the flashes that ran through her head almost made her sick.
As she tried to regain control of herself she felt Mark's embrace grow tighter so much so that her arms felt pinned at her sides. It was when he started to nuzzle at her neck that she knew Mark was gone and the cut on her neck was pushed upon.
I would treat as no other man has done before, I will treat you as a queen.”
She felt his lips her her neck and wanted to pull back but his grip on her wouldn't let that happen.
“Why won’t you accept me?”
There was something that had changed in Dmentis's voice and now that he was back and in control again she answered his question.
"I don't want to be treated like a queen, nor do I want you to harm anyone on my behalf as for why I won't accept you do you really have to ask? You want me for all the wrong reason's, see me as nothing more then something you now own. You may not of killed me in the sense most people would think but you taken away everything I've ever wanted you don't love me and now..." She stopped there and tried to pull away from him before finally looking him in the eye. "And now you want nothing more then for me to be your slave... Mark told me you wanted to...to..to claim me. Is that true?"
She really needed to know.

When the demon bent its head down near the base of her neck and started to nuzzle it, it knew that she knew that her friend was no longer in control. It did not really care because it was enjoying the feeling her skin next to its. It felt a part of her freshly mended wound and make sure to be extra careful not to hurt her. It was either the demon or Mark that was feeling that, it didn’t know who exactly. It wanted to feel more, so much more, but by the way Cara was talking, it seemed that his objective was just out of reach. It knew what his human half had said to her and all of it was true. It did want to claim her as its in every way possible and yes it did have feelings for her yet it didn’t know what they were. Dementis had never felt like this in its entire life and it had never heard someone speak of feeling like this. It hated it when it didn’t know something and this was no exception. What had always eluded it though was that it felt other emotions besides hatred or rage. Before it was bonded to Mark, it didn’t always cause destruction, death, and pain. Sometimes it would just look at nature where it was untouched by humanity. The view was always beautiful to say the least. But as humans became more wiser, the more they expanded their empire thus destroying the wildlife that the demon loved to gaze at. It only made its hatred and anger grow and it became more know to the mortals of the earth. It dark thoughts of its past were soon forgotten when it sighed in contentment and closed its grey eyes. It talked about how it would treat her and the reasons why it tried to kill her. When it placed feathery-soft kissed on her neck near the wound, the demon felt her try to pull away, but its grip tightened to make sure that she couldn’t, getting slightly angered by the small act. Even though it was a little bit mad, it felt saddened that she did not accept it.
"I don't want to be treated like a queen, nor do I want you to harm anyone on my behalf as for why I won't accept you do you really have to ask? You want me for all the wrong reason's, see me as nothing more then something you now own. You may not of killed me in the sense most people would think but you taken away everything I've ever wanted you don't love me and now..." she stopped for a moment, once again trying to break free from the demon’s grasp, but it held fast, "And now you want nothing more then for me to be your slave... Mark told me you wanted to...to..to claim me. Is that true?" she questioned with a slight stutter as the demon looked at her with a grey gaze. It was slightly confused by this. That was what they agree upon so she had to know it wanted her entirely. Why was this such a surprise to her? The demon thought that this was how humans did relationships, besides Mark’s and his first girlfriend’s. Thoughts of what they could do together raced throughout its mind. It heard it other half’s death threats, but immediately pushed him away. He could threaten it all he wanted to, but there was nothing he could do to it. They were connected and usually what happened to one, happened to the other. With a seductive grin and a gaze full of lust, it used its left gloved hand to push her more against it, enjoying the feeling of her body pressed against its own.
“Why of course it’s true, my dear, it was part of our agreement. But do not worry, I won’t rush you, I can be very patient when I want to. Even though you do not want to be treated as a queen, I will still get you whatever you wish, whenever you want it.” it said in a low, rich purr, “I don‘t see you as a trophy that I have won, no, I see you as something no other man as seen you before Cara. I see you as a smart and intelligent young woman who deserves anything she wants.” it said in a alluring tone, feeling the urge to kiss her once more.

Cara Andovea
As she tried to pull away she felt herself being crushed by Dementis vice like hold, as if wrapped in a snakes curls along moments from having the life squeezed out of her. There was one thing she knew for certain he wouldn't let her go.
His touches on her neck where gentle as was his kisses but they still coursed her pain, pain she couldn't truly place she had no idea if it was just the pressure of something on her cut or if it was just having him that close to her, touching her in a way that no man had ever done before.
It was that very action that coursed her to ask about him "claiming" her. The very thought making her scared beyond all reason along with just how quickly he would push the matter when it seemed he wanted to be as close as he could his tightening grip only proving her point as she felt the bones in her arms press into her rib cage.
“Why of course it’s true, my dear, it was part of our agreement. But do not worry, I won’t rush you, I can be very patient when I want to. Even though you do not want to be treated as a queen, I will still get you whatever you wish, whenever you want it.”
From the lack of air she was getting and with the very thoughts running through her head she was starting to feel dizzy. There where three things she knew she wanted but somehow she thought only one of them would be something Dementis might grant.
“I don‘t see you as a trophy that I have won, no, I see you as something no other man has seen you before Cara. I see you as a smart and intelligent young woman who deserves anything she wants.”
The tone in his voice was something she couldn't quite place but from anyone else she could of loved those words.
"Dementis, please I ask you to grant me three things now. Please relent your grip a little. Number two and I can't believe I'm saying this but I'd rather get your, for lack of a better word, claiming over and done with and please I pray you, stop calling me 'my dear.' Call me anything else but please not that."
She looked up into his eyes then her head swimming a little.
"I don't think I could just sit back and just wait around, that would just...drive me crazy."

It had been quite awhile since this body had been so close to someone like this. To tell you the truth, the demon didn’t know why its human half didn’t do this a lot, it was the greatest experience in its long life. Of course, Mark had given up on it entirely since his first girlfriend had left him in the middle of the night and he was also unused to human contact. To the demon though, that gave no excuse not to reap the benefits of life. It would not end up like its counterpart, it would do anything to have Cara as its and its alone. The slight squirming snapped it from its thoughts, making it refocus on the female in its tight embrace. It noticed that her eyes were a little hazy and that she was having a little difficulty breathing. What could possible be wrong with her now?
"Dementis, please I ask you to grant me three things now. Please relent your grip a little. Number two and I can't believe I'm saying this but I'd rather get your, for lack of a better word, claiming over and done with and please I pray you, stop calling me 'my dear.' Call me anything else but please not that." she looked up at it and it could tell she was a little light-headed, "I don't think I could just sit back and just wait around, that would just...drive me crazy." she said in a quietly voice. Dementis had finally noticed how tight its grip was around were small body. Silently nodding, the demon released its grasp somewhat, just enough for her to be comfortable but not able to escape. Suddenly, it remembered what she had said, getting excited about the very thought. Eagerness was added to its seductive grin, the only hint of it being excited, while a hungry and animalistic look gleamed in its eyes. It had been waiting for this moment since it had first starting feeling those unknown emotions, which it still did not have a name for them, and was more than eager to fulfill her wish. A idea suddenly popped into its mind, making it even more excited. Why get it over quickly when it could have so much more fun taking its time?
“Of course, beloved, as you wish. I agree to do what you wish, but wouldn’t you want to find somewhere more comforting where we could enjoy ourselves? A doctor’s office just doesn’t seem to be the right place, it doesn’t very comfortable.” the demon leaned a little closer, but made sure she still felt comfortable, “How about we go where no one would find us, just you and me, Cara.” it purred lowly, using its fingers of its left hand to gently brush against her back in a teasing way.

Cara Andovea
Going crazy? She was crazy Cara could feel her head about to explode. For now it wasn't as bad as her accident associated headaches but that maybe because there where even worse things to focus on such as what would happen next.
The first sign was good he loosened his grip only enough to let her breath normally again and with his doing so she felt some of the built up pressure in her head relent along with it.
It was her last sentence though she really worried about, that and his seeming eagerness. He seemed to look at her in a different light a piece of meat to be devoured with force and power though a savour of every bite.
So why was he just looking at her with hunger in his eyes when all she got was the feeling that he wanted to pounce but for some reason held back?
“Of course, beloved, as you wish. I agree to do what you wish, but wouldn’t you want to find somewhere more comforting where we could enjoy ourselves? A doctor’s office just doesn’t seem to be the right place, it doesn’t very comfortable.”
Enjoy ourselves? Cara thought to herself, there would only be one enjoying this encounter and it wouldn't be her and now as she looked up into the demon's eyes to answer him she wished now more then ever that they would change back to Mark's.
But it was not to be. For Dementis was in control in every meaning of the word and leaning closer to her only proved that point and as for that beloved thing she somehow liked the 'my dear' thing better, at lest that wasn't a lie. To be a 'beloved" she would have to love him and he love her in return and that was as likely as hell freezing over.
“How about we go where no one would find us, just you and me, Cara.”
She wanted nothing more then to pull away as she all of a sudden felt Demetis's large hand on her the small of her back his strong fingers brushing over it and she thanked god that she still had on her cap.
"W...wh...where did you have in mind?" her voice quivered knowing the answer would lead to nothing but her sealed doom.

The young female seemed to enjoy the fact that it loosened its hold on her, which made it pleased with itself. This was just one step closer for her to accept it, which the demon knew it would take a while for her to do so. Right now though, she was freely giving herself to it, which surprised and excited it. Dementis thought it would have to wait for some time to claim her completely, to make sure that no other man would ever have her, but it didn’t expect her to accept the deal this soon. Did she think that once it had claimed her, she was free from its grasp? Well, if she did, she was very wrong. The demon could feel that she wasn’t enjoying the fact that she was soon going to be its soon, but soon she would. Over the years, it had learned many tricks to make a woman enjoy something and it planned to use those skills on the young female. Even though it want to take her right then and there, it forced itself not to, wanting to enjoy this moment. Once again, Dementis heard its human half tell it to not do it, but it merely ignored him again. They had made a deal and it was planning to keep it. It continued to look at the young woman it a hungry and possessive gaze, seeing that she was about to speak.
"W...wh...where did you have in mind?" she questioned, stuttering slightly in fear. It seemed that Cara thought the simple fact that she was going to be its soon was the end of her life. The demon would prove her wrong by making it the most wonderful night of her life. Maybe then she would see that being with it would not be a bad omen, but a wonderful thing that she could enjoy. That was all Dementis wanted, her to actually love it and enjoy being in its presence much like she did with its other half, not hate it. The demon was slightly jealous because of this, what made it different from Mark? They shared the same body and they almost acted the same, so why didn’t she show the same emotions it as she did with its human counterpart? It was most likely how she thought of it, which it made the demon slightly angry at her for that. Its angry quickly turned into lust and some other emotion it did not know when it felt its body tighten with want.
“I was thinking about a place that is on the far side of town where hardly no one travels. I think we should go to the Abandoned Mansion, I heard only a handful of people go there. If someone does happen to find us, I‘ll make sure that they were never born. There are a few rooms there that are still in good condition, but there is one room in particular that my human half seems to enjoy, so I guess we will go in that one.” its left hand moved up to the back of her neck, continuing to stroke it softly, “I‘ll make sure this is the best might of your life and hopefully, you‘ll see that I am not as bad as you think” it said in a low and deep voice, still lightly brushing the back of her neck in hopes to arouse her.

Cara Andovea
Cara could feel her heart beat vibrate in her ear, it's normal steady pace seemed to never stop or slow. Dementis's relent help very little for she knew what was coming and even though it had been she herself who agreed to the go ahead she still wished it had never been an issue.
It was the way that he looked at her that truly make her skin crawl, desire and lust but all for the wrong reasons. She was just so scared and confused these very facts sounding through in her voice as she voiced her question, where would he take her? Where would the deal be set?
“I was thinking about a place that is on the far side of town where hardly no one travels. I think we should go to the Abandoned Mansion, I heard only a handful of people go there. If someone does happen to find us, I‘ll make sure that they were never born. There are a few rooms there that are still in good condition, but there is one room in particular that my human half seems to enjoy, so I guess we will go in that one.”
"But you said you wouldn't..." the words froze in her mouth as she felt his hand rise to the back on her neck his fingers seeming to make little patterns as his fingertips did indeed course shiver to run up and down her spin.
“I‘ll make sure this is the best night of your life and hopefully, you‘ll see that I am not as bad as you think” His voice was so low it sounded like someone else had spoken the words, that if she closed her eyes she could get through it bu believing it was somebody else.
Cara didn't say anything just tried to stand his grip lose enough so she could. Her heart told her to run while she could but her head.... she had made a deal.
"Let's just go" she whispered her voice hardly enough to be heard as she walked toward the door to the office and opened it steeping out into the corridor and with it her new life there was no need to ask if he was coming she could already hear Dementis's footsteps behind her.
