Christine was gone, and Raoul was about to lose his mind. Where was she?! The only solution he could think of was that that demon monster, the Phantom of the Opera, had stolen her away from him. Kidnapped her and taken her back to the horrible dungeon he called home. There was no telling what awful things he was doing to his darling Christine at this very moment. And it was for this reason that Raoul was riding his fastest horse to the Opera Popular to confront him. To bring his beloved home. He would put an end to this man once and for all.
"You there! Opera Ghost! Come out if and speak to me face to face like a real man!" Raoul yelled as he rowed up to the place he had last seen the man Christine had considered her Angel of Music.

Erik looked down at Christine, the women he loved, cared and gave his heart to and how did she repay him? by throwing it back. Awhile ago Erik had decided that he would let Raoul and Christine have their moment, be happy while he tried to forget but as him building burned he felt himself burning along with it.
For years he had lived a living hell, for years he had been alone and for years he had taught the young Christine to sing. Watched her grow.
It was as he sat in front of his music box that Anger and replaced the tears. he was the Opera Ghost, a feared man it was time for the once happy couple to learn why.
Erik laughed as he heard Raoul's voice looking down at his soon to be young bride.
"Arh Raoul" his voice echoed from the shadows in which he hid. "Welcome"

Raoul jumped as he heard the sound of the voice he hadn't heard in years, but that still haunted him every night.
"Come out, into the light where I can see you. Only cowards hide in the shadows!" Raoul yelled, though his voice betrayed his feelings.

"Really?" Erik's voice sounded "And what would that make you? one who speaks so outwardly and yet has fear sound in his voice"
Slowly Erik walked out of the shadows though he knew he wouldn't be seen. Black had once and forever been his friend, night time and darkness even more so.
"To what do I owe the threat?"

"I want my wife back you monster! I know you have stolen her away from me, but she is rightfully mine! You have no claim on her! She chose me, or did you forget?"
Raoul tried to see where the Phantom was standing, but could see nothing. Nothing but black. Not even the whites of his eyes showed.

"Really? No claim you say? I was her teacher for years. It was I that brought out her voice, I who looked after her and yet there you stand telling me I have no claim? I have much more claim then you"
Steep by steep he walked closer and closer to the person he had declared war on long ago his hand on his sword ready to strike to kill.
"I tell you what though, you give me someone to replace what you have stolen and I'll give her back. Otherwise... it is you who will bleed"

Raoul instinctively placed his hand on the hilt of his sword. The hair on the back of his neck rising and a chill running down his spine.

"Well then, you don't have a leg to stand on then do you?" And with that Erik's sword was pulled from it's home around his waist, the gleam of metal the only light that filled the room as he struck and cut into Raoul's leg. Blood his reward.
"Like I said" Erik's voice come once more he returning to the shadows. "Not a leg to stand on. As for replacement. I believe you have a sister don't you? Maybe she'll do"

"Ahhh!!" Raoul cried out in pain as the sword slashed into his leg, blood beginning to flow.
"My... my sister??! But... but she's just a young girl!"
OOC: What is his sister's name going to be, and how old is she? I was thinking somewhere around 16, but as she's your primary character I will totally leave that up to you to decide. BIC.

"You're making me choose between my baby sister and my wife!? And I only get until morning?! And even if I did decide to bring Belle to you, how do you expect me to do anything with this huge gash in my leg?! I always knew you were nothing but a monster!"
Raoul had to think of something quickly. A way to get Christine back, but not sentence his baby sister to this monster.
"Christine! Darling if you can hear me, don't worry, I will get you out of here! I love you my Little Lotte!"

"And eye for an eye and as for your leg I told you long ago that it was war upon you both. You have until sunrise to bring Belle, was it? How you do it is all up to you"
With that he started to walk away leaving Raoul to bleed bt when Raoul's voice sounded again he couldn't help but laugh.

Somehow Raoul managed to get back to the boat and row to the stairs. Before getting out he took off his shirt and wrapped it around his leg to stop the bleeding, then carefully got himself up the long staircase, avoiding any possible trap doors. When he reached the top, and to his horse, he requested someone call for a carriage, saying he had hurt his leg and needed a Dr.
While the Dr. stitched up his leg Raoul was forming a plan. He would bring Belle to this Phantom, and then insist on seeing Christine. An even trade. Then, the next day, he would have Christine ask this monster to meet with her, and while she had him distracted, he would get his sister, and then all three of them would leave the country. Easy as that.

Belle sat out in the garden her voice filling the small little world of flowers though the one that called to her most was the rose it's sweet smell filling her noise. She couldn't help but smile at the song birds her melody mixing with theirs. For though she had never seen them she could rejoice in what others couldn't.
She thought she heard a carriage coming up smile filling her lips.
"Raoul" she called, her older brother his footsteps sounding a little strange.
