He could still remember how he had captured her. The stupid little human who, he now claimed as his in all the ways that mattered and even some that didn't. It had been sheer luck that she had wandered into his trap the circle before her unseen, the portal that opened as she lay down and the chains that wrapped around her along with a branding that come into stepping into the ring of the Fay King her role of yet one he'd have great pleasure in besowing upon her, the sheer thrill of desire flooding over him even now as he replayed the confused look in her eye, the questions he then refused to answer and the mistake she made tying her to him even closer as she took up the enchanted offer of food and drink that meant she'd NEVER escape him again.
How was it that human had forgotten the very existence of fairies, the rules that came with enchanted food and fairy rings the myth that such a being couldn't lie though they were known trickers and never to make one angry less you pay the price and oh what a price it was she would pay. His little desire, his little toy, his little soon bride to be once he implanted his child within her, one of the only known beings still left able to do so, the very reason he had set up the gise he did. Yes, it was lucky that the humans had forgotten... it made the game all the more enjoyable to him, after all at 3000 years old, one needed a challenge and the setup tent of circus freaks tween the realms only got you so far.

Tara Netiliel Aran sat on the edge of the small but impressive kingdom which was her home, and had been for the past few decades. She lived as a princess, although this was something she had never gotten used to, often stealing away to hunt with the others from lower classes. She was singing softly to herself, her focus on the arrow head she was sharpening, preparing for... Well, nothing, but it was better than being in the palace, near the king and his son. She let out an aggravated sigh a the thought of that boy... Yet, of course, she was his intended. She chuckled softly to herself, maybe that's what she was preparing for- killing the prince before their betrothal was announced and, in turn, made official.

Faeya of course, had no such choice, The king had bound her to him in every way he could... though in truth, they had been HER own stupid mistakes. She had been so scared that night when she saw the vampire (Yes she knew what the creature had been now) That she had run somewhat blindly into the forest fearing for her own life within that moonless night it being so dark she hadn't seen nor stopped til she was inside a circle of mushrooms a strange filling taken her over as laughter seemed to fill the air and then... well she hadn't been sure. The next thing she truly knowing was the tall 'man' before her offering her something to quell her thirst and growing hunger, something she did against her better judgment though her belly and throat didn't give a dame.
It was only as she seemed to grow drowsy that she noticed something strange about the man, the look of something lurking in eyes that seemed so deep, dark, cold and inhuman, the roundness of his ears, and the way he grinned down at her saying only one word.
"Mine."

Tara leaned against the tree she sat in, staring out at the vast wide open fields and lands which surrounded the kingdom, closing her eyes as a light breeze drifted by, a small smile coming to her lips. She missed that, the freedom that she and her mother had had, before... Before she had lost her father. She looked down at the arrow she held, sighing as she shook her head. How ironic, her father died due to a hunting injury and here she was... Waiting, longing to go on a hunt. She didn't actually care for the sport or task, it was the fact it let her leave, ride out freely, air whipping her hair back, the sweet smells and taste in the air coating her inside and out. She glanced behind her and downwards, smirking slightly at the dark haired figure that approached her.

"You know I'd join you in your hunt if I knew how" She said, slowly coming upon the tree the other girl sat in, the elf known as Tara who was somewhat in the same boat as her though not quite as deep. "I don't condone or relish the thought of hunting but to get away for... HIM... I'd try anything"
She sighed, the breath of air blowing a lock of long hung hair from her rounded face.
"Is it true that iron at least BURNS your kind?" She questioned the very idea of the king in pain coursing her to smile though it quickly vanished when she thought of how he might punish her.
"You going to hung around up there all day or come down before you know who comes looking? If I were you I'd go for a ride or something before he finds you... how is it I'm so tightly bound to the KING no less and you... you're the one free to move about? I can't go beyond the border without..."
She'd rather not think about it.
"I just... just need something to take my mind off of later tonight. Teach me how to fire an arrow or... tell me more about Lucian or... Lycan... or.. sorry, what was his name again? I swear that dame spell of HIS even makes it so I can't speak another names name"

She watched the human seemingly ramble, brow creasing as she watched and listened, growing more amused and bemused by the girl below her. She put the arrow back within her quiver, though remained in the tree.
"It also apparently makes it so you do not leave space for me to answer," she replied, smirking slightly, shaking her head. "He does not let you go hunting, and I cannot be bothered with him or his son berating me for going against him, you know what he is like when you are concerned." She shrugged, "I don't know, I don't think so, otherwise half of Lucian's weapons would be of no use to me... And I may stay up here all day, the prince can't climb, so I'd say I have quite the escape route if he does come by..." She narrowed her eyes slightly at her, her right hand reaching for her dagger, the motion blocked from sight by her body. "Why do you wish for me to tell you about Lucian?"

"Sorry" She mumbled at the elves come back still not really knowing how to behave around them. Each mythical being having their own set of rules and ways of court and speaking. Most of the time she herself was a mute only hearing her own voice when alone or the around other women NO males around what so ever not even an animal sometimes it feeling very strange to speak.
"I guess, though Lucian isn't a fae or so I've been led to believe and I ask only because... I wonder what he may look like, sound like, what colour his eyes might be, his hair ANYTHING... even tell me of the prince I don't care just.... someone other than the king. I'm not going to tell them about him, not that I could. He doesn't promote me to speak of other men around him, it only pisses him off and make him more.... animal like in bed... which believe me... I don't desire. You're lucky to have found someone you like, can talk to, even as just a friend. Y...You're the only one I can talk freely to about anything... I just...I wonder, you know. What a gentle kiss may feel like, a loving touch... LOVE, in any form."

"You humans are strange, you overthink and yet do not think enough..." She said, letting go of her dagger, relaxing against the tree again, "as for the prince... Obnoxious and full of himself, yet a pathetic hunter and an even worse fighter... Nothing on Lucian," she said, nodding to herself. "He's tall, taller than me at least, with dark hair and blue eyes... I don't know what else there is to tell about him... He's a lycan, so rather low down... Which is total nonsense..." She looked down at her, smiling softly as she shook her head. "As for a loving touch, or kiss... I am the wrong one to ask such thing's to, I only know of parental and friendly forms of affection, nothing beyond that...." She reached up, breaking a rather thick branch from the tree, taking her dagger out as she began to whittle and carve it.

"Still more then what I know and he sounds... very handsome. I take it his eyes aren't just blue but warm, inviting and since a lycan maybe they change colour to maybe like the rest of his body does when he changes form. That dark hair taking over but even as a wolf he isn't a pure animal, there isn't just warmth within his eyes but within him, something deeper." She opened her eyes again then, the forming image of the man gone. "As for the prince... he seems to be a hunter, just one of a different kind maybe. kind of like his father and as for me... I'm the only human on THIS side of the realm that know what you all truly are and yet..." And yet don't all at the same time "I only know the king, he being the only... being in my life that's somewhat stayed IN it... for that I...I have mixed feelings I know I hate what he's done to me, made me but.... If I had any of that with someone else... Maybe, maybe that would be close to love"

Tara watched her, tilting her head to the side slightly, her hair falling over her shoulder more. Humans, she had come to learn, were very odd creatures. For something that was so weak and relatively defenceless, they had a spirit and wit which took a lot to break away. They were younger than most of the other beings she knew of, and yet mixed in with their nonsense there were glimmers of wisdom, a kind which should have seemingly been beyond their grasp.
"It almost sounds like you would like to get to know Lucian on a much more... Intimate level," she said, waggling her eyebrows, sniggering slightly, looking past her as she saw Lucian approach, followed by those who were going on the hunt with her. She bit the inside of her cheek on seeing him, the same confusing swell of feelings and thoughts hitting as it had done for some time now, whenever he was near or she could see him. "Took your time, I see," she said, leaping down from the branch with ease and grace, landing on her feet before the lycan

"I..." She started before her words went dry, everything suddenly going very dark.
When this had first happened she thought she had become sick, VERY sick, the panic that had risen in her at being totally blind replaced by shear worry and then confusion as out of the blackness she had finally seen HIM. Nothing else seemed to linger, not tree, nor ground or sky, just HIM her voice sounding as she asked why and he'd explained.
She would NEVER see another man, nor hear his voice, for HE was all she'd ever need. HE was the one she'd dream about, say was the most handsome of men, his voice that sounded like song and honey mixed into one and NEVER would she be aloud to say a word otherwise. It had cleared everything up but now made her nothing more than a shadow. Feeling the males around her, their stronger scent, it making her noise twitch and wonder.
Was it Lucian that smelled of pine and earth with something stronger mixed within or was that someone else? Maybe he was the one that smelled of spice or maybe.... was that fire? Something burning warmer then anything she'd felt before, something that seemed to brush against her in a fleeting movement and made her jump to then be gone.
"Yea well sue me, unlike some I had work to do. You know work, the thing that keeps me from hunting out in trees and talking to thory's, not that she'd answer anyway. She finally going to join us?"

Tara crossed her arms, leaning towards him slightly, narrowing her eyes, smirking.
"Poor little wolfie," she said, calling him by her pet name for him, bringing up what she had carved from the branch- a small wolf- lightly bopping him on the nose with it, grinning slightly. "If I knew you were gonna come, I would have just left it be as a branch," she said, tapping the top of his head with it. "Do you like it?" She asked, offering it to him, smiling sweetly at him. "As for the human, you know he would not be pleased if we even contemplated taking her... Besides, she always becomes rather... Sickly around other males, I don't know why, considering I've got more balls than the lot of you," she said, flipping her hair over her shoulder, closing her eyes as she stood tall and proud, taking the chance to smell the coal and fire scent which lingered on Lucian

"How many times do I have to ask you to stop calling me that?" He questioned though in truth kind of liked it. "I know you'd never get your hands dirty but playing with twigs is okay? I sure hope you asked the tree before ripping off one of it's arms, I swear one day a nymph is going to make you pay and I'll just sit back and watch."
He then turned back toward the human seeing one of his friends standing next to her, that same look in his eyes that he always had, as if he knew something more about her but didn't ever say anything... as was the likes of a dragon and even more so Don.
"You know just looking at her ain't gonna help you any. If she's sick surly YOU should know a way of treating her. Maybe she could get on your back or something."
When no real answer came he turned back to Tara. ""As for pissing HIM off all the more fun don't ya think? Now how's that for balls? You're the only one that human seems okay around and yet you don't have the balls to defy him... whilst I do, maybe we could leave the cute little charm as a calling card. I mean bopping a poor little wolfie on the nose is one thing while he..."
"He'd skin you both alive and you know it." One of their group voice breaking up the tit for tat that always seemed to go on between the two. "Just leave the girl and lets go. You know he'd come after her anyway, and it would also mean the price would come to."

Tara shook her head, turning to Faeya, sighing as she gave a side look to Lucian
"They're right, you're best going back to the palace, my mother will be there if you wish to speak with someone who isn't him." She said, her voice soft, tender. She looked back to Lucian, eyebrow raised, "and if your so ballsy, how come you're still his personal blacksmith? Now, that really is showing him," she said, smirking as she walked on, stopping for a second. "Bet you've never even kissed a female, Lycan or otherwise..." She said, part of her mind screaming at her, wondering what the hell she was doing. Walking back to him, now closer than she had been before, eyebrow raised, smirking. "Amount of times you've been alone with me... I'd say I was insulted from how little you seem to find me appealing," she shrugged, loving winding him up, before she leaned in, kissing him lightly on the lips.

He was somewhat surprised by this, pulling back before smirking, not one to play her game.
"You ever think that might because I DON'T find you appealing? Maybe I have a thing for say... humans"
He walked over toward Faeya then, reaching for her hand.
"I wouldn't do that If I were you" A deep voice suddenly sounded "I may just kill you for even thinking about touching whats MINE."
At hearing him Faeya's hands went to her ears, her body shivering.
"I see you've made some friends my little toy, shame I'll have to take you away from them and YOU Tara... I shall tell the prince that HIS prize is waiting for him, though I'd dare say to loose the arrows and the pets. You know how he may move the date of the wedding up just to make sure you know your place."
