Christine sat doing homework with Mia and Emma, the three chatting and talking happily.
Christine had been adopted by the Greys after the files on her family had been tracked down, confirming that she was officially an orphan and thus ward of state, at that moment Grace and Carrick had gone through all the papers they needed to and she was a full member of the family, much to Christian's misery. In the six months she'd been with them, alone with the four in and out of hospital on house visits, Christine had picked up and learnt enough English to get by, as her new mother and father had learnt French so she'd never have trouble communicating with them.
"Mia, may I ask you something about our brother, please?"

Mia shrugged looking over at her new sister. "Which one? You do know WE have two right though.." she couldn't help but giggle "I have an idea which one you're talking about"
Emma on the other hand still remained mostly quite and to herself. While having been taking in by the Grey's she wasn't to be one, her family still only her tiny little friend. She had taken time to come out of her shell a little still untrusting though she did spend quite some time with the oldest of the Grey children.

"Cheeky miss," she smirked, nodding, "I mean Christian... Why is he so... Miserable, least round me"

Mia shrugged. "Don't know, maybe he just don't like bugs" she stated using the name Christian had given to Christine "He's always been moody maybe you just get him at bad times."
Emma remained silent as if her placement in the room had been forgotten. She understood Christian a little more then the others. The fact seeming to help her fear toward him a little.

"Please do not call me that, it stings when he uses it so I do not want that to happen more, thank you," she said her brow furrowing, "Em? You alright my friend?"

"Sorry, slipped out." Mia shrugged before turning back to her work.
Looking up and toward Christine Emma nodded. She couldn't think of the word that she was truly not that she had said one and so hide a yawn. While she got along with the female Grey's, didn't fear them as much her upbringing was in her blood now and therefore while somewhat accepted not wanting to say anything out of place.

"You're a terrible liar Em," she smirked, tilting her head, brow furrowed in concern,

Liar? A look of question crossed over her dark eyes and pale pink lips. Liar, she had heard the word before, her father had called her that a few times but what did it mean? Even Whisker's had trouble making her understand. Keeping her gaze low she shrugged a shoulder, let them think what they like, she thought.

"Well, I'm done, lets go swimming in the pool house!" Mia chimed in, beaming at her own idea. Christine grinned, nodding, lookig to Emma "Come on, Whiskers likes it and he can make fun of Ayesha"

Bitting her lip Emma nodded again while she herself had a fear of the water...for reasons the Grey's didn't know she knew Whisker's loved it and...something about the way the water moved did call to her. Closing her books carefully she stood, wincing in a pain she couldn't hide her body still weak.

Christine put Emma's arm over her shoulder, putting her own under hers so they could walk together easier. "Come on Whiskers, Ayesha"

At the contact given her body Emma flinched still unused to a kind touch. She noticed Whisker's running ahead almost playing tag with the cat which in turn made her smile. If nothing else Whiskers at least seemed happy.

Christine chuckled, watching Ayesha stroll after the rat, after all she was a cat and thus too 'cool' to dare run after it,

Once near the pool Emma stopped not making another move. Instead her gaze moved to a chair that was nearby. She would sit as the others swam, trying to control her breathing and the memories.

Christine watched her as she walked in, feeling a small splash as Whiskers had just jumped right in and was swimming around happily. Ayesha had taken her usual place on Emma's lap
