"I...I" he started trying to gather himself up fearful. For though the years as he had studied humans he had never worked out how they react to him. Some...some seemed not to mind and others...well...he'd rather forget about others.
Now at 18 Layla had grown into her own. Being cast out of the village seemed a blessing to her. She could still recall the whispers of the people wondering. Had the creature left her alive for a reason and if so what?

She stood fully, walking over to him, her brow furrowed with concern as she knelt beside him. "Are you alright sir? Please, let me help you"
Although her sister was annoying, her being the cause of their sudden move to pure seclusion had worked out ideally, only two other pair of breasts to distract him rather than a town full

"Please, no...I'm fine." he debated slowly coming to a stand though trying to keep himself hidden. "I didn't mean to scare you"
Truth be told her had been the black spot after that. rumours having spread. Some thinking her more evil then the creature itself while other had claimed her to be the one that would one day kill the being and it had run away in fear. Layla....well...having now grown had wanted to find out.

"Have you met my sister, her middle name should be ghostly charmer..." She said, sniggering as she rose to her feet with him. "How long you been watching us sir?"
He had found the rumours and whispers most amusing, especially when they caught wind of her sisters degradding health, the slow decline into the visiual dark... Witchcraft

"I have not my lady" he answered trying to remember the manners and terms he had long ago over heard. "I...I'd rather not say but please, I've meant you no harm"
Layla sat under one of the trees pulling out her log book, within it everything she remembered, learnt and found about the creature. Each tale about her being left alive also lay within it's pages the latest one she couldn't help but laugh at.
'The creature has been looking for a bride, one that he had lost long ago. it is said only a few can survive his touch, be warned young lady...and keep holly water with you"

"I know you look different... I can tell, but it's alright... Vision will not be a big issue for me much longer..." She said, leaning her head to try and see his face
She had tried to keep holly water... Suddenly her sister needed it in an experiment till she ran out and replaced it with normal stuff, course his prey was unware of the change, but... What fun would telling her be

"And why is that my lady?" he questioned still trying to remain hidden, still trying to remain in darkness.
"If this fails carry a cross, it will burn the creature by the power of god and goodness, a stake to his heart, IF he has one." She had listed this under tools along with garlic though what power that had she didn't start to guess.

"I'm going blind... Slowly but surely... Come on, you are welcome inside... Just let me get my things and we will go inside,"
He watched her, smirking more and more, her sister hated crusifixes and crosses, saying it reminded her of their father who was a minster

"I'm sorry to hear that my lady, though around me it might be for the better. please, let me take your things"
It was her father that had shunned her the most after the attack not knowing what to believe, the rumours that his oldest daughter was something the creature craved and therefore wanted...a danger to the town or....something that could beat him?

She giggled, nodding, as she tied her hair back. "Alright, follow me once you have them... My sister locked the front door so my windows the only open thing."

"Of course my lady" he nodded gathering her things following.
Night quickly came to the forest and Layla couldn't be bothered listening to her sister rants or her snoring. Instead, she lay her head down, looking up at the night sky, or what she could see of it. "Who will you be attacking tonight?" she wondered as she let her eyes close.

"Odette, my names Odette." She said, smirking as she climbed through her window, rolling onto her bed

"Pleased to meet you" he said handing her the few things.
Layla let herself slowly relax, sleep slowly taking hold.

She took them, tossing them aside. "Pardon me a second while I change, make yourself at home." She said, going into her bathroom

"Arh....sure." he voiced walking near to the fire place, his eyes going large.
