Rashell brushed a lock of her dark brown hair back from her eyes glad she had at lest one hand free to do so, she knew she needed to get it cut but with all the work she'd been doing just didn't have the time. As a waitress she breathed a sigh of relief when she had finally mastered learning how to hold a heavy tray in one hand freeing her other to serve, collect and well... get long bangs out of eyes.
It had been a long day and she had been run off her tried feet though there where a few tables still left to clean and people finishing their meals. As she set the cleaning tray down her mind planned what she'd do when she got home from the club. A nice long bath, a good book before turning in? It sounded like a plan though almost to good to be true.

Odette sighed heavily, taking a deep breath before knocking upon the door to the man's office, inwardly hating herself for getting into such a position as she now was. Her family had never been overly wealthy but at no point had any of them had to go crawling to someone else for help, that was until her last business plan backfired so badly she may as well have been born into poverty

"Come in" a booming voice sounded through the door way, echoing off the walls making anyone without a spine shutter.
"Yo Rashell snap out of it. Happy hours about to start and you look like you're about to fall in a heap" one of the bar maids yelled.
"That's because I am." She replied back laughing softly.

She swallowed hard, walking into the room after opening the door as she made her way over to his desk... That was till she tripped on a slightly snag in the carpet, her heels- her only and best pair- exaggerating it to a degree that she face planted the floor.
"COuld you at least not do it on my shift then please hon, honestly I get enough with the customers passing out never mind my own staff"

Foot steeps sounded on the wooden floor coming closer to the fallen girl, a shadow then falling over her as a man then knelt and offered a hand.
"I have heard of a women falling for a man but...I always thought it a rather dangerouse act."
"Sorry, triple shift and the coffee pot isn't working...again"

He helped her gently to her feet before looking her over.
"So. To what do I owe this trip with a fine young women such as yourself?" he questioned. "Certainly not better travel plans?"
"Think it's drank to much of itself and gone into a comma. I thought we where voting for a new one?"

He thought about it for a moment.
"Swanson, Swanson....arh yes. I believe I do." he answered the name indeed ringing a bell.
"What are you going to do? Everyone gets a say...like it or no." she stated hiding a yawn. "Besides with more votes you're sure to get the attention of the boss, Boss."

"Well maybe we should make him work the triple shift and see how he does without a boost. I'm telling you the tables, the kids and then the horny drunk men... It's....a work out."

"I see and just how much is it you owe?" he questioned, waiting silently for a reply.
"I'll just be glad when my shift finally ends. If need be I could place a call to the head man. For some reason it was voted I would be the one to talk to him."

"I see." he breathed leaning back in his chair. "And whom do you owe this money to?"
"Why does no one want to talk to this guy? Is he really that bad or something?" Rashell questioned. "I mean what's the worst he could do, fire me? an unfair let go would still pay my way for awhile"
