Emma White sat within the gardens under the willow tree her long dark hair blowing in the wind as her feet dangled in the cold water making goosebumps rise over her pale skin but her mind wasn't on that though, no instead her mind was traveling back in time when her body shivered for a totally different reason.
As a child, her father had beaten her, turning her once pale skin black and blue the reason then unknown save for his constant words of 'training' her though he had never said what he was training her for, not until years later. She had finally gotten to see the light then and in more ways than one when her world started to be more than just a dark room though, in many ways darkness still ruled her life. The only thing that had saved her had been the Grey family for the youngest son, one Christian Grey had found her outside a hospital where his mother had worked and taken her in. She had not known then how her life would change, how the people in it would affect it and become more than just friends but family something she hadn't ever really had before along with joy her smile stretching over her face at the thought, not hearing the footsteps of someone coming up behind her.

Elliot Grey walked towards her, a small soft smile upon his lips, as there almost always was when it came to his girl. He sighed softly, leaning against the tree he looked down at her, admiring her from his vantage point, internally fighting between just watching her, and joining her.
He had near enough loved her from the first day he'd laid eyes upon her, even if she had been barely more than skin and bones he saw the girl she was meant to be, having made it his aim to get her healthy, and make her his. This had initially been easy enough till... His youngest sister had pulled a disappearing act during the preparation of their wedding. He'd been so wrapped in finding her that he lost his girl. In between her leaving and returning to his life he'd married his sister-in-laws best friend and had a child with her, though the minute he saw Emma, he knew he had no choice but to be hers alone once again.
Christine Grey sat in her office, going over the latest script she'd been sent, hmming to herself as she tried to learn all she could bout this character from what she had been given so far. She sighed softly, rolling her eyes as she shook her head, sitting back, crossing her arms, the glint of her wedding ring catching her eye, making her smile giddily to herself.
She and Christian had been married nearly a whole ten years, course the track to their seemingly perfect marriage had been anything but. As the two grew up together she became near obsessed with her "Fairy tale Prince" as she mentally dubbed him, doing all she could to get him to like her, hell even just to notice her... She'd even learnt English for him, and yet... It took over five years of separation for the two to click the way she had wanted to way back when.

It had been hard. Hard for Emma to bear thinking that while he loved her he didn't want to marry her despite what he had said and despite the ring he had given her. It had been as she had been left standing at the altar that she had felt her heart ripping apart though she had still given him another month all of it coming to an end when she had finally been unable to take it anymore and pretty much disappeared not only from his life but everyone's including her best friend. Still, in the back on her mind she could feel his eyes upon her now, it was the first feeling she had ever learnt aside from fear for those eyes of his where just the first thing that sent tingles over her body, course her heart to quicken and her breath to pause.
"So what do you think?" a voice came from the doorway for scripts in hand before placing them on a desk. "Kind of an interesting lead role from what I remember of reading that sample piece they sent. Though I'm sure 'someone' can help you with the research oh and he's on line two....just so you know."

"You alright, bunny?" He asked, his voice soft as he slowly eased himself down so he was sitting beside her. He gently put his hand upon hers, brushing aside a few pieces of her hair, before he leaned in and kissed her cheek, breathing in her natural odor along with the shampoo she used.
"Yeah... She's an interesting one... I'm sure I can work out something for her... Thanks Lucy," she said, picking up her phone, holding back a little giggle that swelled within her throat. "Hello?"

She couldn't help but jump alittle as he did so, her mind snapping back to the here and now just as fast as a stretched rubber band would though she couldn't help but shake her head a little at the shivers that ran up her spine leaning into his touch and his kiss.
I'm fine, just....lost in time a little" she stated almost adding a little more, like the nickname she had once called him and in many way fitted him better than his real name ever did. "You just surprised me is all. I don't expect to be pounced on by someone falling from the sky."
"No prob. Tell him I said hello." Lucy whispered before leaving the room knowing better than to stay when the two lovebirds got to talking.
"Hello to you to love." A deep voice answered down the line "Hows the research going?"

He chuckled, nuzzling her gently "Sorry, baby, didn't mean to startle you... But, Bunny, you know that THAT ain't pouncing," he said with a slight growl in his voice. He scooted closer to her, kissing her lightly on the lips, cupping her chin in his hand.
"I don't think I can say while at work... I've had worse but seriously... It's so... Bah, never mind. How's your day going?" She asked, fiddling with her wedding ring as she always did when on the phone, as if to act as a surrogate to not being face to face

"Oh? I'm not so sure it may not be YOUR form of pouncing but it's still poncing." She giggled hearing the tone in his voice, knowing it all too well for it had become the tone her body had long ago become enslaved to, her lips proving it as she returned his kiss. "Besides, I'm only a little bunny remember?"
"Maybe you should rethink taking the role then." Christian voiced never one to believe in doing something unless in held SOME kind of passion "Or you could maybe try bringing some more life to her but to answer your question...it's been just about as fun as yours it seems. Endless meetings with people who can't seem to tell their left hand from their right."

He nodded, sighing as he wrapped his arm around her, pulling her close "Got me there bunny, my clever little lady," he said, rubbing noses with her, "so, what were you so lost in before I, quote en quote, pounced at you?" He asked, kissing the top of her head
"I'll see if I can wiggle some more info from the people here... Doubt, but why not, if it don't work it may piss em off and that's always worth a box of popcorn... Aww, my poor man having to deal with inbred fuckers... And here I thought that was illegal in this state," she said, sniggering slightly, always having the bad habit of laughing at her own jokes

"Just...the past." She replied simply not wanting to bring him into memories she'd rather not remember herself though somehow doubting she'd be able to help it for long just like the little twitch to her noise that always happened when someone touched it having earnt her the nickname he used. "I just can't help it sometimes, wondering what my life would be if...if you hadn't wanted me."
"I'm sure you'll think of something though I'm sure we could piss them off just as easily. I could fire the whole lot of 'em if you'd let me." He stated once more falling back into old habits. "As for the 'inbred' I believe it is but it doesn't seem to stop them. Just makes me wish for the days when people had a brain."

He nodded, knowing better than to pry, if she wanted to say something about their history she'd bring it up, sure enough she did. He kissed the top of her head sighing, "no need to wonder that, cause it would never ever happen baby, you're my bunny,"
"You are not firing anyone babe, least of all Lucy... She says hi by the way... Oh sure, show off you woke up that day, honestly you sleep in by one hour and miss the hand outs of intelligence... And definitely good looks,"

"Be that as it may, there was a time..." She trailed off her eyes turning once more to the water and letting out a long breath before turning back toward him wanting and needing to change the subject. "So, what are your plans for the rest of the day? I take it you finished those plans you were working on?"
"We'll see" He smiled his fingers itching to do so with a wave of hand. "As for Lucy, tell her I said hello and to go out a buy a handful of alarm clocks, looks will only get you so far and we've far reached beyond that point here."

"Baby... Shhh," he gently tightened his grip around her, stroking her hair as he nodded. "I did, so I get to spend the rest of the day with my beautiful little bunny lady," he said, pulling her onto his lap
"What do you mean bout the clocks? Also when is the last time you saw an alarm clock? Only one could fit in your hand, two if you have really long fingers... Wait... Are you calling me ugly?" She asked, her mind never one for picking up on double entandres of other peoples

"Oh really and just was is it we are going to do then?" She questioned having a fair idea as she moving into his lap and letting herself cuddle up there, her head laying over his chest.
"Of course not. I was thinking of getting some for those 'I rather catch 5 more z's then get my butt out of bed' types and you know I don't really sleep hon. After all, whats that old saying? No rest for the wicked?"

"I dunno, cuddle together till it gets cold... Have a nice dinner together, either at home or out your choice, then bathe together before heading to the bedroom... To do... Bedroomy, things..." He smirked, trying to look as innocent as possible when it came to the last part.
"You're not wicked, Christian," she said, all humour and self deprecation gone from her voice. She hated him talking bad about himself, even in jest. "Someone "Wicked" couldn't have raised his kids to be as great as you have,"

"Bedroomy things?" She couldn't help but giggle though a blush crept to her features. "I like the thought of having a bubble bath and having a nice dinner somewhere though I can't help but wonder one thing" Leaning in Emma started laying small little kisses along his jawline. "How long you'll hold up with each change of attire? We both know you rather one to the other Mr Lion."
"Maybe." it was the one thing in their life that that would never see eye to eye on it would seem. "Though wicked has more than one meaning baby."
