Phoebe Grey sighed as she brushed a lock of her long hair aside making a mental note to get it trimmed before to much longer, her bangs had always been falling into her eyes lately and it always broke the spell she found herself in when reading.
At the moment her noise was stuck in a rather good book that her mothers company had just finished printing. A real page turner really and though the plot was somewhat far fetched what drew her in was the hero.
Tall, dark and handsome, just like any good looking hero but looks weren't everything, sure they helped but it was not what Phoebe envied it was the relationship in which he sheared with the young maiden.
At 21 Phoebe was still to have a relationship, one were her family name didn't come into it at all. Where she could be certain love was love and not some foolish fancy like her older brother seemed to play.

A knock at the door was followed by Christine pushing the door open, arms filled with clean clothes. "Morning sweetie," she said brightly, walking over she kissed her nieces cheek, her youngest one- named Stephen for reasons only the Chris's knew- babbling happily to himself as he waddled in after his mother

Phoebe took a moment to come out of her daze not truly knowing if the noise that broke her silence was real or not. It was only when her aunt walked in planting a kiss that she come back to Earth. Putting her book down she glanced to her young nephew.
"Hey, hey there little goose, you helping Mummy?" she questioned. 'little goose' had always been the nickname she had given her youngest nephew his funny little waddle reminding her of the rounded steeps a goose seem to take.

Reaching down she picked up her small cousin popping him up in the window seat beside her. Tickling him slightly. "Did Mummy wash your suit of feathers to little goose for I think I see something strange in that basket she's holding. What do you think?"

"She washed his suit did she?" she asked laughing back at the little fingers that tickled her playfully. Out of all her family Phoebe got along with Stephen the most, it was even she who had taken over the bed time stories at night. Looking towards her aunt however she gently took the letter from her hands turning it over to see who it might be from. Not even the handwriting gave her any clues however.
"Yea, but...I don't think this is from Mum or Teddy unless they've changed their handwriting. Hey little goose, any idea who this could be from?" she asked showing him the letter.

"Yup, yup, yup!" He tilted his head to the side as he looked at the letter, narrowing his little eyes as he did before finally shrugging. "No kno..." He said pouting as he crossed his arms in a huff

She couldn't help but hide a giggle. "hey no pouting now. It just means it will be a surprise when it's opened. Hey, think you could do me a huge favour and open it for me?" she asked knowing he loved the sound of ripping paper.

"Shredder, now letter opener..." Christine chuckled, smiling adoringly at the two, as she rolled her eyes. Stephens eyes lit up as he took the letter, opening it carefully just as the front door opening and closing echoed around. "Oh, your fathers home early... You be good for your cousin now" she said to her son before leaving the room

Taking back the letter Phoebe was hit a little hard by the question her half brother asked. "Well, before you where born Daddy was in love with another women and they married and had Teddy and me. Later when things didn't work out tween my mother and our Daddy he remarried and we both know to who right?"
He nodded smiling to himself. "Work was well...work what can you except? but at least we're finally getting somewhere with those safer mobile phones"
"Mum please, I'm all sticky"
